IMO it is highly doubtful that the working set of a modern game would come anywhere close to fitting in the CPU cache.That said, I still more or less agree with Motherboard that will work 4GB RAM & Vista 32bit Can't find your answer ? If Vista has guesed right and you happen to use an application for which it has prefetched pages, the app just loads faster; if you happen to use something else instead If you restart (or un-minimze) the app before those pages are consumed by something else, it just marks them as in-use again so they don't need to be loaded from disk. That's why it's not a real issue. Now I know that what vista does with ram is good, but I thought 4gb was going to be more than enough.
