That thing is old now and won't run that game well. Is it possible that this is the connection from the PSU/hard drive and it was being used in the cd re-writer? Please refer to our CNET Forums policies for details. Join over 733,556 other people just like you! have a peek here
A well placed "blow hole" on top of system case helps alot as heat rises, but you usually have to make a hole and then install a fan. http://www6.tomshardware.com/howto/20040122/index.html may also help you. the 7600 GT or the X800Xl?whoowhooThe x800xl is a bit more powerful i believe, but it doesnt support sharder model 3 which is pretty much needed for eye candy now. I really don't know what to expect from my new spec but if the radeon x800 is a top mid range I should be happy enough.

If 100 dollars is your strict limit then i would go with the 7600gt. Of course, we've come a long way from that, some systems do have 4-6fans installed if air-cooled. X800XL is still has a 16 pixel pipelines, it may be clocked a bit slower than a 7600GT, but the extra 4 pipes make up for it. Check This Out If none present, then use the a slot fan that mounts in a empty buss slot either getting power from the slot or actual power harness.

Although it recommends a 350 watt power supply with 18 amps on the 12v rail it ran fine in an HP computer i have that had the same specs as your

Also for $80 is it a good deal? Get atleast a geforce 7600 gs.El_Carl, an X800XL would kill a 7600GS. I KNOW!! This is a ball....I read this before!!
I was looking to upgrade it and came across the connect3D X800 GTO card on newegg and then was pointed to this forum from there. u have a 300 watt power supply with a max of 15Amps on the 12v rail, which is not a hefty power supply by any measure. I'm sorry if I came of slightly rude, but if you are going to suggest anything. But I didn't get anything and defenetely no boot. That's why you see the frt. Good luck getting that to run on a 250W PSU with probably 10A on the 12volt rail.
