Question About Handhelds
Sign in to Reply #8 whitestreak A year ago Although I absolutely understand the love for the DS and the 3DS, I still have to go for the GBA. Seriously, it has a Sonic game, guys. The fact the I can play all the great PSP games and PS1 games is awesome to me. The 3DS is a lot of fun but it isn't a part of my life like the original GB was. Doesn't really get any better on portable for me. :)Edited May 2015 by chaoticBeat Sign in to Reply #23 metalangel A year ago The original Game Boy. There's nothing that can run on this system that I wouldn't rather play on it.

Sign in to Reply #9 kazriko A year ago I'd definitely take the Vita over anything else. Only a few games are worth buying physical, and even then you still gotta connect to the internet. Hell I'd probably be to busy playing Survial Kids to know I was stuck on a deserted island!!!! :P In all seriousness it is a great handheld, a stopgap, yes, but loving it.Edited May 2015 by cldmstrsn Sign in to Reply #44 SevenBones A year ago I've been an avid portable gaming fan since I started gaming years ago so it would
Recover your account here. For that reason, it will always be my favorite handheld. But I have a specific reason: I love it in New York City. If you could only have one handheld gaming system, which one would it be?
if you stranded me on a desert island with a Vita, I'd still be OK (aside from being stranded on a desert island). These games are handheld games built for the handheld market. Front not back! This gonna be hard, USgamer!!!!!!!!!!!
The best part is I can dig back into the Virtual Console and check out those games I missed! (Except GBA, apart from my Ambassador games...) I did feel a need And insane convenience relative to the original DS (I have something like sixty games stored on my system).... Without it though the 3DS feels and looks like a very old piece of hardware. Sign in to Reply #14 Samustroid A year ago My favorite system of all time is the Gameboy Advance, I think.
I loved the clicky stick, I loved the fighting games, I saved myself a ton of trouble by transferring points from SNK vs. http://robotadv.com/question-about/question-about-fps.html However, I would choose the GBA library, making the DS Lite the ultimate handheld. The DS was a fine console, but I don't have many games I find myself going back to play ever again. The library is great as well as the backards compatibility.
I would not say the PS Vita because it is a download dependent system meaning you better get everything you want from Sony's servers or else its kaput. with nanoloop, lsdj, nanoloop mono e.g.? the 3D looks fance for a for minutes but in reality it's a pointless and annoying gimmick. It also forced me to favour digital releases for the PSP... HomeMusicForumsRecent PostsMembersSign-UpLogin You are not logged in. Sign in to Reply #18 HandheldGuru A year ago Dammit.
It has some of the best (and most accurate) Late Arcade Era Atari games, period.
If the connectivity for remote play is sorted out I can see myself wanting a Vita more than a 3DS in the coming year(s) Reply 0 Braaains @braaains Dec 4, 2013, And that was on top of the fact that it finally made visual novels a legitimate genre in North America. While it hasn't received massive support for unique games, the combination of great indie titles and the huge PS1 classic selection could keep me going for years. So If I'd like to sync another gameboy this way, TR-606 have to be master and I have to send straight clock from dinsync or second tom trigger to second gameboy,
It has a pretty good library, too, considering the short time it was on the market. Reynolds is currently serving overseas with the U.S. My feeling is the best handheld systems are those that can let you play without much hassle. this contact form That is until Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate.
It would only have taken 1 game that I really wanted to play, but it never happened. Some great NES/7800 ports too. Last week I already admitted my favorite portable game was Wario Land III, so logically my love for Game Boy games doesn’t end there. And, lastly, the real answer to this question is the DS.
Either way, while you figure out your choice, here's what the USgamer team has nominated as their favorite handheld systems. What a handheld!!!!!!!!!! Plus, having no backlight means that I don't play games throughout the night and focus on, I don't know, SURVIVING? Today is a good day to remember that it does not include a microSDXC card, which you are absolutely going to need if you want to take advantage of the luxuries
Strayer,Peter L. I even bought one on launch day. If it didn't have backwards compatibility, the PSP would come close, but I'd still choose the Vita. Dr.
At least, it is for me. Hardware & design-wise it's the nicest system ever. My current top picks on Vita: Hotline Miami 1/2, Spelunky, Shovel Knight, Nidhogg, Helldivers and Sine Mora.
