I ran the VAIO Recovery Center disc and it repeatedly said error 333 even after I made every change I could thing of. After much too much searching around, I found out that F2 is the magic key. Thank you!
I am trying to reset it back to factory settings but have no discs. You should be able to login as Administrator and then go into the control panel and create a new user account. It appeared F10 tried but all that happened was a row of multi colored pixels across the screen and it froze there. Or you can use a recovery partition on the hard drive.
