Question On A7N8X Deluxe Memory
If I am mistaken, maybe someone would care to post a link showing how it is possible to connect more devices. Is the spare slot not capable of Dual Channel? A computer can be slow because of: 1) Underclocked processor core. 2) Disks running in PIO, rather than DMA mode. 3) "Delayed Transaction" [Disabled] in the BIOS 4) "PCI Latency"  Otherwise the Windows setup process will not be able to find your drives. have a peek here

I thank you for the trip down memory lane.P.S. Is that right everybody? The Corsair worked the best for me. Even in Corsair's XMS line, (which is very fast memory) the standard CAS settings for PC3500 are 7-3-3-2.
I just noticed that your using the E-Deluxe. Period. AND of course, trying one at a time isn't a bad idea either, to see if one is bad or something. Another problem that might occur is that certain games reset the speaker setup to 2 speakers, no matter what it was set to previously.
