my card doesn't have cooling fan it's radeon np 9600 (Just remove the cover on the left side of your case and you should be able to visually inspect it.) Are you enabling Fastwrites in your BIOS?

You have to check your card's box for PRO, XT or SE.
For a year and a half the computer has run well so im pretty sure that you do not need more power than the recomended (300w) because i have 50 less I have an Asus 9600xt and my problem is after about 5 minutes of gameplay in any 3D game, the screen goes black.
