But even when I try to update my driver, it keeps telling me that: Windows has determined that the driver software for your device is up to date Radeon 9800 Pro Same thing happened to my old loveable 9700Pro.May he rest in peace. the nvidia has 512mb while the ati has 1 gb. AND/OR 2) I used to have a 9800SE which had similar problems.
Anyway make sure that only the ATI drivers are installed and not the integrated. and go back to one stick of ram.:-) This thread is now locked and can not be replied to. Since then, I cannot get the drivers to work again for my 9800.I have Windows 7. If that happened you'd need to uninstall all of those drivers. He may have gotten a life. I cant remember if I installed specific drivers for my graphics card at that time, or if windows did it. Aaah, I'll tell him to give that a whirl.
