Even Partition Magic can not bring these two partitions together as one. To do this go to rather than click on computer with left mouse button, highlight computer and click the right button, then click on manage, then storage, the disk management, then I would have never thought of this, since my older 9.x version of RST showed the full drive. When creating partitions always use ntfs for XP, Vista and 7. If I could ask one more question (and this is the last, really): I'd like to try to zero the LBA 3 sector. Then when restoring you should see a screen that allows partition resizing.

Both the WD Data Lifeguard Diagnostic tool and the Intel Matrix Storage Manager Console reported this drive as 3TB though. Raid 0 Status Failed I migrated to the RAID 0 and it took 3 hours. Microsoft just refuses to stop making a mistake because it is a habit.
When I go into My Computer I see my HD, right click and choose properties and it says I have a total of 228GB and not 465GB. Why not use 2 seperate discs, with on each one a volume, or purchase an extra disk for RAID-1. I've been working on this all afternoon and am having trouble getting HDD Capacity Restore Tool to work. These computers can't handle anything above 2.2TB an the support is non-existent. Now disk manager reports 5.7TB but windows sees 1.8TB. The motherboard clearly sees a 3TB drive while the OS sees something that is excluding around 2.2TB of the raw capacity. Thank you much for helping/sharing the knowlege. why not just put the OS on a 100GB volume instead?
