If they’re not seated correctly, your computer can’t see or use them. Click on apply and then ok in the other box or window. Not currently OCd, under-volted. It is a Dell E5500 with the latest BIOS (A19) and chipset and video driver. +Resource Manager and msinfo32 show there really is only a scant 45MB being used for video

WARNING: be careful. Ram Not Detected In Bios win 2003 webserver, 32-bit can only use 2 GB. Somehow between shutdowns either one of the memory sticks or memory slots died.

Its a good thing to know how much RAM your system can handle before making a purchase or upgrading our PC. You might be interested in this thread, especially post #28 where Allan (thanks Allan!) gives a link to the Computer Hope site and page that deals with testing motherboards and CPU's.Good And should check this before you buy any other memory in a larger capacity or speed rating. weblink As stated by Bill253, a UPS would be a wise investment if at all possible.
